Receptionist / Administrator – Exact Orthodontics, Indooroopilly QLD

The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for a full time Receptionist / Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team within a national organisation that truly values its people and their development. This is a 12 Month contract, working 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). The successful candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and team work. You will be joining a dedicated, dynamic and fun team in a long standing practice.

About the Practice

Exact Orthodontics is conveniently located to local transport links (rail & bus) and within 5 minutes walking distance from a retail centre. The practice has been operating for a number of years and provides a range of orthodontic solutions with the aim to create a relaxed, comfortable and caring environment for our patients. We offer a professional working environment within a fun and supportive team. We are looking for the right person to join our team with a long term vision and the opportunity to learn and grow a career in the orthodontic field.

About the Role

Supporting three clinicians you will be working closely with all team members and patients and liaising with our head office, suppliers and reps. Some of your job tasks may include:

  • Greeting new and existing patients and their families
  • Answering telephone calls and email enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Entering patient data into practice database
  • Processing accounts and payments
  • General Administration and Reception duties
  • Assisting manager in leading an effective administrative team

What we are looking for

  • Excellent all round IT skills and knowledge
  • Experience in the dental / medical industry is preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional personality
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to establish relationships with other people in the practice
  • Exceptional diary management
  • High attention to detail
  • Initiative, great time management and flexibility 
  • Great communication and presentation 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
