These are difficult times for all of us but our smiles shouldn't suffer.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Maven Dental has consistently followed the advice of the State and Territory Health Departments, who have the legislative powers to impose restrictions or exclude essential health services, such as the delivery of dental care.
We continue to be led by the relevant state health departments and keep in direct contact with these health authorities to ensure our practices have the most up to date information and safety requirements to support their patients.
Our clinical advisory team continues to provide guidance to our clinician network based on the advice of the health authorities.
Our clinicians continue to use their professional judgement as advised by the Dental Board of Australia to undertake risk assessments prior to delivering dental care to patients. The risk assessment includes a thorough triage process collecting important information from patients prior to and when entering the practice.
Personal protection equipment (PPE) and Operational Guidelines continue to be a critical part of the process of risk mitigation and prevention of spread within our team and patients. PPE is adjusted according to risk assessment and is a critical aspect of the prevention of the spread of the virus.
We understand these are difficult and unprecedented times and at Maven Dental we continue to support our practice teams, clinicians, their patients and our local communities as we unite together against the COVID-19 virus to keep each other safe.
