Channon Lawrence Dental welcomed Jason Alfrey to the practice as an Oral Health Therapist. Jason completed his Bachelor of Applied Health Science in 2003 at the University of Queensland. He spent his first few years practicing in a number of fixed clinics as well as the Brisbane Dental Hospital, before making the move to Gympie in 2005. Over the course of the years, Jason has also gone on to further his qualifications, obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Dentistry in 2010 (University of Adelaide) and Post Graduate qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice in 2015 (University of Melbourne).
In his role as an Oral Health Therapist Jason focuses on children's dentistry, preventative techniques, Periodontal care, management of ageing dentition and minimal intervention dentistry. He is passionate about assisting his patients in achieving lifelong oral health and educating them on healthy dental habits. Jason is also well regarded for his friendly, gentle nature, and his high standard of treatment and care.
Outside of dentistry, Jason enjoys spending quality time with his young family and has interests in music, surfing and travelling.
