Brisbane Implant Dentistry and Perio Care welcomed Dr Rachel Garraway to the team as one of its principal dentists. Dr Garraway graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland. After spending time in Toowoomba working in private practice, she went on to complete her specialist degree in periodontics.
Since obtaining her specialist qualifications Dr Garraway has gone on to achieve a number professional goals including, receiving the Australian Periodontology Research Foundation prize for her publication on Periodontal Regeneration, working in the Department of Periodontology at the Royal London Hospital (1997) and lecturing/demonstrating in Periodontics at the University of Queensland Dental School. As an active member in her field, she is always seeking out opportunities to further her professional development.
