Dr Jakeya Ahmed

Dr Jakeya Ahmed is a passionate and experienced dentist who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Dental Health Science, along with a Master of Dentistry, all achieved with academic excellence. Dr Jakeya has a particular interest in aligner therapy and enhancing smile aesthetics, recognising the transformative impact a beautiful smile can have on a person's confidence and overall well-being. 

Dr Jakeya is a proud Adelaide local and is passionate about giving back to the community that supported her. She speaks Bangla fluently and also has conversational proficiency in Urdu and Hindi, allowing her to connect with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Outside of work, Dr Jakeya enjoys hiking, exploring new landcapes, baking and crafting macramé pieces.

*Includes a free 30-minute consultation, a comprehensive smile assessment, with a customised treatment plan at Dentalcare Mt Barker.  Consultation appointment must be booked for Thursday 19th June 2025, with participating clinician. Not all patients are suitable for Smile Academy aligners. Suitability will be determined at the time of consultation. If patient suitability is determined, up to  $1,000 off  Smile Academy treatment plans are available, if treatment plan is accepted on the day. Patients that do accept a treatment plan on the day will also be eligible for a free take-home teeth whitening kit at the completion of Smile Academy treatment plan. This offer is not transferable, cannot be combined with any other promotions, and is subject to appointment availability with the participating clinician.
