Child Dental Benefits Schedule at Evatt Dental Care
Important Notice: Please ensure you check your childrens eligibility before visiting the practice. See details below on how to find out if your child qualifies for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) offers a total dental benefit entitlement to eligible children that is capped at $1,000 per child over a two calendar year period.
How to find out if your child qualifies?
Log online to your Medicare account at mygov.com.au or call the Medicare general enquiries line on 132 001. Contact our Maven Dental practice that accepts CBDS to discuss suitable dental options.
Eligibility for CDBS?
- CDBS is available for children between the ages of 2 and 17 years old
- The benefit is available to those children who are eligible for Medicare
- The family of the child must receive an applicable government payment for example the Family Tax Benefit Part A (FTB-A).
The CDBS provides individual benefits for a range of services including examinations, x-rays, dental implants, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital.
Our Evatt Dental Care practice accepts CDBS – contact them today if you have any further questions or to arrange your child’s next dental appointment.
