Maven Dental Invermay welcomed Tara Brooks to the practice in February 2017 as a dental hygienist. Tara completed her Advanced Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 2000 in Adelaide, where she continued to work in private practice for the next 16 years. During this time she developed a special interest in treating elderly and dementia patients in Aged Care Facilities.
In her role as a dental hygienist, Tara has interests in periodontics and assisting in the improvement of her patients' smiles (and subsequently their self-esteem). She also strives to deliver her patients the best in oral hygiene care and receives great satisfaction in seeing her patients' dental health transform.
Tara is passionate about furthering her professional development and regularly attends continued learning courses and training. Keeping up to date with the latest development within her field of dentistry allows her to deliver the best in oral hygiene care to her patients.
Away from the practice, Tara and her family are enjoying their new Tasmanian lifestyle (moving from Adelaide to Launceston). When time allows she has interests in bush walking, hiking, bike riding and taking her dog for walks.
