Dr Edward (Ted) Cullinan graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1982. After receiving his qualifications, Dr Cullinan spent two years practicing in the rural town of Dysart (Queensland) before making the move to Mackay, joining the Maven Dental Pioneer practice. After two years working as an employee he progressed his career and became the principal dentist in 1986.
While experienced across all areas of general dentistry, Dr Cullinan has special interests in cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, implants, preventative care, and restorative dentistry. Through quality care and treatment he focuses on helping his patients achieve and maintain a healthy and beautiful smile. He builds strong relationships, taking the time to understand his patients' individual needs and concerns, and developing customised treatment plans.
Committed to continuing his professional development, Dr Cullinan regularly attends post graduate training to keep across the latest technologies and techniques within the field of dentistry. When not tending to his patients in practice, he is also an accredited clinical supervisor for 5th year dental students at the James Cook University, Mackay.
Outside of dentistry Dr Cullinan enjoys competitive sailing with his wife, keeping fit, taking part in his church's activities and most importantly spending quality time with his family.
