Dr John Scully
Originally from South Africa, Dr John Scully graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 1985. After receiving his dental qualifications he gained experience owning his own dental practice in Johannesburg until July 2004 and has since relocated to Australia and joined the Morley Dental Centre.
Dr Scully is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and strives to stay abreast the latest techniques and materials by attending congresses national and internationally.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Scully is a keen golfer and thoroughly enjoys fishing and playing a social game of squash. His wife Bev and their two children are enjoying the Perth lifestyle and enjoy exploring Western Australia and meeting new friends.
Dr Daniel Leslie
Born and raised in Perth, Dr Daniel Leslie attended the University of Western Australia and graduated with his dental qualifications in 2010. Dr Leslie's career has seen him gain valuable experience working in both public and private dentistry at locations such as Shark Bay and Leonora.
Dr Leslie is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, however, holds a special interest in oral medicine. He regularly attends continuing education courses to ensure he remains up to date with the latest in dental practices to support families in maintain healthy mouths and teeth for life.
Away from the practice, Dr Leslie is often found cooking (particularly desserts), gardening to grow fresh ingredients for the kitchen and travelling.
Dr Troy Ridgwell
Dr Troy Ridgwell, born and raised Perth local, joined the team at Maven Dental Morley as a friendly and passionate associate dentist. After graduating from a Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Western Australia in 2019, Dr Troy has worked in two private practices in the Perth Hills where he gained extensive clinical experience and knowledge.

As a dentist, Dr Troy Ridgwell has an interest in general dentistry and providing quality dental care to his patients. While highly experienced across a broad range of dental treatments, he is particularly fascinated in minimal invasive dentistry procedures where he is able to preserve as much of a patient’s natural tooth as possible.
Dr Troy is passionate about servicing his Perth community and finds great pleasure out of meeting different people and educating them to improve their oral health. Dr Troy firming believes that healthy teeth make a positive difference to overall health and wellbeing.
When he’s not talking teeth, Dr Troy enjoys taking trips in his camping trailer and having some ‘screen free’ time outdoors sightseeing, fishing, 4wding and exploring with his wife and two young children in nature. He also loves watching a good movie or tv show.
Dr Mahesh Thyagarajan
Dr Mahesh, originally from Bombay, has been working in Perth since 2009 and has recently started seeing patients at Maven Dental Morley! He has advanced training in orthodontics and a master’s degree in prosthodontics. Other areas of specialty include; Fixed Braces, Implants, Invisalign and Sleep Dentistry.
His aim is for people to feel happier and better informed about their dental health. In addition to Australia, he has worked in Russia, India, and UAE. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his son, swimming, and reading.
Dr Evan Cvitkovic
Dr Evan Cvitkovic is an enthusiastic Dentist at Maven Dental Morley. He began his academic journey at McMaster University, earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour in 2019, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2023.
Dr Evan spent three years treating dental patients at the University of Western Australia clinic and various government clinics throughout Western Australia, where he developed a profound understanding of patient care. Originally from Canada, Dr Evan's move to Australia to undertake his dental studies. He combines his background in psychology with dental medicine to provide a caring, empathetic approach, especially appreciated by patients who may have had previous anxieties about dental care.
Dr Evan is passionate about leveraging his unique skill set to change patients' perspectives on dental health. He enjoys educating and working collaboratively with patients to maintain healthy, clean mouths, and values the transformative power of dental care in improving lives.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr Evan enjoys going on long-distance runs to keep fit. He also likes to let his creativity run loose with digital art and cooking up new recipes.
