Associate Dentist

Dr Albert Nguyen is the passionate and driven Associate Dentist at Maven Dental Buderim. Dr Nguyen graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours). Through the course of his studies, he gained valuable experience working in metropolitan and regional areas and additionally undertook volunteer work with the Tzu Chi International Medical Association - which he has continued since graduating as a volunteer dentist (view his most recent trip at Tara Dental Fair, April 2018).

Since qualifying as a dentist, Dr Nguyen has worked in private practice gaining extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry including prevention, direct restorations, periodontal treatment and extractions. He also offers experience in treating anxious patients, performing sedation dentistry, endodontic treatment, trauma management and fixed prosthodontics.

Dr Nguyen is an extremely passionate dentist and loves being able to help transform the lives and smiles of others. He enjoys the challenges his role offers and appreciates the opportunities to help his patients overcome their nerves - both literally and figuratively. Dr Nguyen is very experienced in using nitrous oxide sedation to ensure your dental expereince is as comfortable as possible.

Supporting his love for the field of dentistry, Dr Nguyen regularly attends continuing professional development courses and training. He is additionally a member of the Australian Dental Association (national and Queensland branches) and an associate member of the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology. Dr Nguyen is fluent in Vietnamese and welcomes international patients to the practice.

Away from the practice, Dr Nguyen has interests in swimming, tennis, reading, computing and chess. When time allows, he also enjoys going on road trips around Australia and bushwalking.
