Dr Alexander Terry Starvoullakis has a global background and diverse experience in dentistry, bringing a unique approach to patient care. Dr Terry offers a blend of scientific rigour and compassionate care to his practice, making your dental experience both comfortable and comprehensive.

Dr Terry holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo (2011), a Master of Science from the University of Toronto (2018), and, most recently, a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney (2023). His time between degrees was marked by significant contributions to dental research, specifically in Dental Material Science and Cell Biology, where he contributed to numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Born in Greece and raised in Canada, before making Australia his home, Dr Terry's international experiences have shaped his worldview and approach to dentistry. Growing up, Dr Terry was witness to the profound impact his mother's compassionate dental care had on patients' lives, and as such, was inspired to follow in her footsteps.

In the clinic, Dr Terry's interests are broad, with a keen focus on restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, and preventative care. Always eager to stay on top of the latest advancements, he plans to undergo additional training in clear aligners and cosmetic dentistry, allowing him to provide his patients with a wide array of treatment options. Dr Terry's passion lies not only in the technical aspects of dentistry but in the relationships he builds, ensuring he provides a comfortable and personalised experience for each patient.

Beyond dentistry, Dr Terry leads an active and culturally rich life. He enjoys playing basketball, practising yoga and martial arts, and engaging in Tango lessons with his wife. Alongside his fluency in both English and Greek, his love for languages sees him currently embracing the challenge of learning Mandarin.

Dr Haneet Kour genuinely cares about her patients and her gentle nature helps her to quickly develop a friendly rapport with all of them. Dr Haneet knows that by taking the time to fully understand her patient’s needs, she can best establish a treatment that makes them feel confident and comfortable.

She proudly practices ethical, honest, patient-centred and evidence-based dentistry. Dr. Haneet believes that the mouth is the mirror of overall health and well-being, thus strives to empower her patients with the most accessible knowledge about how to best care for their oral health.

Dr. Haneet completed her Masters in Periodontics and Oral Implantology, as well as certification in Advanced Oral Implantology. This was when she developed a true passion for her chosen profession, giving back a smile to patients who had lost their natural teeth. Dr. Haneet registered as a general dentist in Australia after excelling the Australian Dental Council exams in her first attempt within a short span of 6 months. Regularly seeking to improve her dental skills, Dr Haneet stays up-to-date on all the latest dental techniques and technologies to provide her patients the best, most comprehensive care.

Dr. Haneet is a trained periodontist from India and holds a Masters Degree in Periodontics and Oral Implantology. She has a strong educational foundation and has over 10 years experience in all aspects of dental care, with special interest in treatment of gum disease, oral surgery and implants. She often says: “In healthcare, the learning never stops. This is what makes my job exciting and challenging. I enjoy every bit of it!

When she is away from dentistry, Dr. Haneet loves spending time with her partner and twin boys. She enjoys traveling, playing squash and reading.

Dr Preeni Shah graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2021 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and has moved her practice to Churchill Eco Dental Care in 2023. Since completing her studies in the UK, Dr Shah has garnered valuable experience in both the National Health Service and private sectors, ranging from general dentistry in community practices to more complex procedures in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in hospital settings.

In her practice, she combines her attentive nature with empathy, creating a welcoming and trusting environment for her patients.

Dr Shah's clinical interests are diverse, encompassing everything from routine maintenance to surgical procedures. She places a high priority on routine dental care, aiming to help her patients maintain excellent oral hygiene and reduce the need for more extensive treatments. Additionally, she has a keen interest in extractions and surgical procedures, particularly wisdom teeth removal.

Dr Shah relishes the diversity her profession offers. She enjoys meeting new patients, learning about their experiences, and providing transparent explanations and personalised care. Her goal is always to ensure a positive experience for both patients and her dental team.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Shah has a passion for swimming, various dance forms, and painting. Her zest for life extends to exploring new experiences, reflecting her dynamic and multifaceted personality.
