Dr Joseph Chau

Dr Joe Chau is an experienced clinician that is passionate about passing on his knowledge adn skills to his team of local Rosny dentists.

Dr Joe is passionate about mentoring his associates and challenging himself in all aspects of dentistry. Outside of the practice he enjoys golfing and boating and of course dentistry.

Dr Coreen Ho

Dr Coreen Ho joined Dr Chau at the Bellerive practice in 1986 as an associate dentist. Dr Ho graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1984 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She began her dental career working alongside Dr John Austwick for 2 years before joining Dr Chau, where she has been practicing for over 30 years.

While enjoying all aspects of general dentistry, Dr Ho places strong emphasis on overall patient management including prevention and education. She also particularly enjoys working with children and their families to facilitate excellent oral health to last a lifetime. Dr Ho is fluent in English and can speak and understand some Cantonese.

Dr Justin Huang

Dr Chau's Bellerive practice welcomed Dr Justin Huang to the team in 2013 as an associate dentist. Born and raised in Melbourne, Dr Huang moved to Adelaide to complete his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide. Having gained extensive experience across both private and public practices, he relocated to Tasmania joining Dr Chau.

While enjoying all aspects of dental care, Dr Huang has special interests in preventative dentistry and orthodontics, being a provider for ClearCorrect.

Away from the practice, Dr Huang loves spending quality time with his wife Elaine, family and friends. He is also an avid photographer and enjoys exploring the beautiful scenery Tasmania has to offer.

Dr Nicholas Wong

Dr Chau welcomed Dr Nicholas Wong to the practice in 2015 as an associate dentist. Originally from Malaysia, Dr Wong moved to Brisbane to complete his Bachelor of Dental Science (honours) at the University of Queensland. After graduating, he spent time working in rural parts of Australia gaining extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of dentistry, before relocating to Hobart and joining Dr Chau.

Although experienced across all aspects of general dentistry, Dr Wong has special interests in restorations, facial injectable and dermal fillers. He also welcomes patients of varying backgrounds, being fluent in English and Malay/Indonesian.

Dr Chau welcomed Dr Nicholas Wong to the practice in 2015 as an associate dentist. Originally from Malaysia, Dr Wong moved to Brisbane to complete his Bachelor of Dental Science (honours) at the University of Queensland. After graduating, he spent time working in rural parts of Australia gaining extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of dentistry, before relocating to Hobart and joining Dr Chau.

Although experienced across all aspects of general dentistry, Dr Wong has special interests in restorations, facial injectable and dermal fillers. He also welcomes patients of varying backgrounds, being fluent in English and Malay/Indonesian.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Wong has interests in playing soccer and badminton, hiking, camping and bushwalking. He enjoys spending his free time with his friends and family, experimenting with cooking and enjoying the local cafes/restaurants.

Dr Valerie Hach

Dr Valeria Hach was welcomed to Dr Chau's practice in 2016 as an associate dentist. Born and raised in Taiwan, Dr Hach completed her dental degree (DDS) at the National Taiwan University in 2002. After a number of years practicing in her home country, her training was recognised by the Australian Dental Council in 2013 where she made the move to Tasmania. By 2017, Dr Hach had successfully become an Australian Citizen.

Dr Valeria Hach was welcomed to Dr Chau's practice in 2016 as an associate dentist. Born and raised in Taiwan, Dr Hach completed her dental degree (DDS) at the National Taiwan University in 2002. She is kind and gentle in her approach, ensuring all her patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their treatment. She also fosters a positive dental experience for international patients, speaking fluent Chinese, Taiwanese and some German.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Hach enjoys classical music, playing the piano, cooking and bushwalking through Tasmania's amazing landscapes.

Dr Chris Yip

Dr Chau's dental practice welcomed Dr Chris Yip to the team as an associate dentist in 2017. Dr Yip grew up in the north-western suburbs of Sydney before moving to Brisbane to complete his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland, graduating from with First Class Honours. His studies saw him being awarded numerous prizes including the Australian Society of Endodontology Prize and Australian Dental Association Prize.

Away from the practice, Dr Yip is an avid San Antonio Spurs supporter and enjoys exploring the beautiful landscapes and offerings of Tasmania on his weekends.

Practice Manager

Kelly-Jane Young

Dr Joseph Chau welcomed Kelly-Jane Young to the practice in 1996. Kelly-Jane began her dental career at the practice as a dental nurse, before working her way up to her current role as practice manager. She is passionate about running a successful practice over two locations and keeps busy managing a team of 32 staff. Kelly-Jane also plays an integral part in the day-to-day operations of the practice and always boasts a positive and happy attitude.

Away from work, Kelly-Jane enjoys spending quality time with her family, particular her two beautiful children Harry and Daisy, and Coco their family pet.
