Dr Prue King graduated from Otago University (NZ) and moved to Sydney from Wellington, NZ, where for many years she ran a busy integrative dental practice. Prior to that she worked in general practice in London where she was first exposed to many of the holistic concepts which form the basis of her practice today.

She has a fellowship in Craniofacial pain from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and has studied Nutrition and Metabolic Medicine with 4AM.

She actively supports dental health in the context of the whole body, by working with other integrative practitioners including chiropractors, osteopaths, massage therapists, holistic GPs, and ayurvedic practitioners to help improve the structural and biochemical integrity of the body.

A long-time committed yoga practitioner, Prue is also a practicing Yoga Teacher with a post-graduate diploma in Yoga Therapy and offers individual yoga therapy sessions, furthering her commitment to getting people involved in their own health and rehabilitation.

Prue is the mother of three adult sons and in her ‘spare’ time enjoys walking, reading, art and visiting Sydney’s beautiful beaches.

Urvashi pandey

Dr Urvashi Pandey

Dr Urvashi Pandey is one of the principal dentists at Lotus Dental.
She was born in Dharamsala in northern India, graduated in dentistry in 1996, and after moving to Australia received her Australian Dental Council Certificate in 2003.

Urvashi has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of temporo-mandibular dysfunctions (TMJ), craniosacral pain, snoring and sleep apnoea, and the early detection of malocclusions in children with a view to minimising future issues and she loves creating beautiful smiles for people through cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Urvashi Pandey is one of the principal dentists at Lotus Dental.

Urvashi has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of temporo-mandibular dysfunctions (TMJ), craniosacral pain, snoring and sleep apnoea, and the early detection of malocclusions in children with a view to minimising future issues and she loves creating beautiful smiles for people through cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Urvashi is known for her patience, attention to detail, and her gentle and approachable nature. She believes that good dentistry is a blend of creativity, modern techniques and vision and follows a holistic dental care approach to diagnosis and treatment. 

Urvashi completed a two-year short residency in Orthodontics in 2013. She uses removable and fixed appliances, including myofunctional appliances and braces, to create balance and facial harmony.

Urvashi is a co-director of Lotus Dental, along with Dr Prue King.

Apart from Dentistry, her other interests include Yoga, Ayurvedic medicine and cooking, painting, mosaics and gardening. She is based in Sydney with her husband, two teenage boys and their German Shepherd dog.

 

Jackie bonifacio

Dr Jacqueline Bonifacio

Dr Jackie obtained her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2007 and received her certification from the Australian Dental Council in 2016.

Her training and practice involves and strongly focuses on the belief that oral health is an integral part of an individual’s totality. She is very thorough in understanding, diagnosing and formulating management plans that aim to provide a patient-centred outcome.

Dr Jackie’s areas of interest are minimally invasive restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and implants.

She regularly attends continuing education courses to improve her skills and feels very fortunate to be mentored by seasoned practitioners who share the same interest and passion in integrative practice.

Dr Jackie has a friendly and approachable nature. She knows and understands that dental treatment can cause stress and anxiety so she makes sure that you are comfortable and well informed before any procedure commences. She likes her patients to be involved in treatment planning, considering all the factors important to each individual.

Outside work, Jackie volunteers at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance providing treatment in their dental department. On her days off she enjoys bushwalking for hours with her rescued Australian Cattle dog, discovering hidden spots in the Lower North Shore area. She also enjoys cooking, reading and being social with friends and family.

Veronica Queralt-Vila

Veronica is a qualified dental hygienist with more than 10 years experience, having obtained her degree in Oral Health from Newcastle University. She has also completed extended training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.

She is enthusiastic about improving the oral health of our patients though our preventive program.
Through her experience working in private practice, Veronica has developed extensive hygiene skills – both practical and also in communicating with adults and children to encourage correct oral care.

Mariko Goto

Mariko Goto graduated from her Dental Hygiene qualification from The University of Japan in Tokyo in 2000 and obtained her Australian Dental Hygiene qualification in 2008.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge to the Lotus Dental practice, Mariko has over 20 years of experience in Australia and Japan within the dental industry. She is committed to continued learning and is excited to extend her scope of knowledge by studying Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in 2022.
