Originally from the Mid-North, Jess grew up on a large Sheep and cropping property in Booborowie. Her family then moved on to a Large Sheep and Cattle station in the centre of South Australia. After completing boarding school in Adelaide, she decided to remain in the city and focus on growing her studies and career in the health industry. The saying "you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl" rings true, as she has since moved back into the Mid-North region of Kapunda.

For Jess, the most rewarding part of her job is viewing patient reactions to their new smiles. Especially after braces removal and complete cosmetic makeovers, as it proves the impact teeth have on self-confidence and how grateful people are for the work and support/advice they receive at the practice.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in her new home with her partner and dog Banjo, along with socialising with friends and family, striving to spend as much time as possible with family at their holiday home in Normanville.
