Meet The Team

Dr Andrew Ziepe is Maven Dental Duncraig's (formerly Duncraig Village Dental) lead dentist and founder. After graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1991, Dr Ziepe began his career in regional WA before moving to the UK to further his skills. After 12 months in the UK, Andrew returned to Australia where he was the Head of Unit at Dental Health Services in Warwick. In 1996, Dr Ziepe established Duncraig Village Dental where he has been the lead clinician and oversaw a branded to Maven Dental Duncraig in 2020. 

Andrew is a people person who enjoys developing relationships with new patients. Dr Ziepe has always been intrigued by the technical aspects of dentistry. He has a keen interest in crowns & bridges, implant dentistry and all things CEREC. He is also passionate about orthodontic work completing his Post Grad Diploma in Digital Orthodontics (UK) in 2019.

Even as an experienced dentist, Dr Ziepe recognises the need to constantly learn in the dental industry. He constantly seeks opportunities to attend clinical courses with plans to advance his skills in orthodontics and sleep dentistry in the future. He also has a love for technology and enjoys learning new techniques with new dental tech.

Away from Maven Dental Duncraig, Andrew spends most of his time with his family or watching his beloved West Coast Eagles play. Dr Ziepe also loves adventuring in the great outdoors and game fishing. He has even represented Australia at the World Championships of Game Fishing in Mexico.

Dr Russell Fine is the highly experienced and friendly Principal Dentist at Maven Dental Booragoon. Dr Fine initially graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science before discovering his love for dentistry. In 1996 he furthered his studies and completed his Bachelor of Dental Science, registering with the Dental Board of Australia as a General Dentist. Dr Fine joined to team at Maven Dental Duncraig on a part-time basis in 2020 to work with Dr Ziepe to help more of Perth achieve beautiful smiles.

Over the past 15 years, Dr Fine has continued to further his professional development by gaining qualifications in a number areas of dentistry including Invisalign, dental implants and snoring and sleep dentistry. Additionally, he holds a keen interest in sedation dentistry, treating dental phobic patients, reconstructive dentistry and other cosmetic dental procedures that enhance patients' smiles.

Dr Fine is very proactive in keeping his practice up to date with the latest dental advancements and regularly attends educational courses to further his skills and knowledge. He is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Implant Dentistry, Australian Society of Periodontology and the Australian Sleep Association. Dr Fine is also an executive council officer for the Australasian Osseointegration Society.

Away from the practice, Dr Fine enjoys spending time with his family (wife Jennifer and two young sons) and is an avid gardener. Interesting fact: Dr Fine was originally born in Cardiff, Wales and moved to Australia as a child.

Dr Shatha Saleh is one of your skilled and passionate local dentists. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology in 2014, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2019, both from the University of Western Australia. Following graduation, Dr Saleh practised in Perth for a year before returning to her hometown of Bunbury, where she continued to hone her skills in private practice. In 2024 she returned to Perth, where she currently practices at Maven Dental Duncraig.

Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality dental care, Dr Saleh's professionalism and commitment to welcoming patients make her a favourite among those who may have apprehensions about dental visits. She is passionate about reshaping the typical stereotypes associated with dentists, aiming to provide a comfortable and positive experience for all.

Dr Saleh's clinical interests are broad and continually evolving. She has a keen interest in restorative dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, implant treatments, and full mouth rehabilitation, areas where she skillfully combines aesthetics with functionality.

Her passion for dentistry stems from its unique blend of art and science, enjoying the creative aspect of recreating natural beauty in her patients' smiles. The satisfaction Dr Saleh derives from using her clinical skills to enhance both the appearance and health of her patients' smiles is a driving force in her career.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Saleh enjoys a rich and fulfilling personal life. She cherishes every moment spent with her baby girl, exploring the joys of parenthood. Her artistic talents extend to painting landscapes and Arabic calligraphy, showcasing her creative flair. Additionally, she enjoys exploring new cafes, indulging in food photography, and discovering the scenic beauty of the southern regions in her free time.

Julie Stoitis started practicing at Maven Dental Duncraig (Formerly Duncraig Village Dental) early in 2005 after completing her Hygiene conversion course at Curtin University. Julie is a member of the DHAA.

Julie began her career in the industry as a Dental Clinic Assistant before starting her studies at Curtin University. She successfully graduated from Curtin with an Associate degree in School Dental Therapy in 2002 and immediately began working in the School Dental Service. 

Julie loves interacting with patients and getting to know them. She has a keen interest in treating periodontal disease and oral cancer. She also enjoys brightening her patient's smiles with teeth whitening treatments. Julie is committed to providing high-quality dental care and is constantly seeking courses that will improve her skills.

Away from dentistry, Julie enjoys spending time with her son. She is also a keen photographer and enjoys travelling.
