Dr Jack Obaid graduated with honours from the University of Sydney and received the 'Pierre Fauchard Academy Scholarship' for his outstanding academic achievements in dentistry. After receiving his dental qualifications Dr Obaid moved to the United Kingdom where he gained a wealth of experience across all facets of dentistry. He returned to Sydney in 2004, joining the Maven Dental Greenwood team as the lead dentist. Over the years he developed special interests in the areas of sleep dentistry, dental implants, complex and rehabilitation treatments, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and restoring/treating patients with Bruxism.

Dr Obaid holds patient care in the highest regard and continues to ensure he is up to date with the latest in dental technology and techniques. He regularly attends further education opportunities to support his continual professional development. Dr Obaid also believes it's important to include and educate his patients in their treatments. Not only does this support a pleasant dental experience but it also helps ensure preventative measures can be put in place, reducing further dental issues arising.

Away from the practice, Dr Obaid participates in a wide range of sports, including touch football, cricket, soccer, hiking and skiing. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children.

Dr Benjamin Barrera joined the Maven Dental Greenwood team as an associate dentist. During his years' of study Dr Barrera completed a number of degrees including, Bachelor of Science majoring in neuroscience (University of Sydney), Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry (Griffith University). While studying he was also the President of the Dental Students' Association and spent time visiting local schools to promote dentistry and oral health.

Dr Barrera is enthusiastic about providing his patients with the best dental experience possible, from a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere to the latest in dental techniques and technology. Although experienced in all facets of dentistry, he demonstrates a particular interest in the areas of children's dentistry, endodontics, sleep dentistry, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, inhalation sedation and Invisalign.

Outside of work Dr Barreras hobbies include playing the piano, rowing, tennis and being social with his friends.

Maven Dental Greenwood welcomed Dr Tiffany Kenton to the team as an associate dentist. Since graduating with honours from the University of Sydney in 1998 (receiving the Haddon Kemp Medal in Oral Surgery), Dr Kenton has been practicing in Sydney. Her career has also seen her take on the role of Associate Clinical Tutor to undergraduate dental students at the University of Sydney. Dr Kenton's special areas of interest include cosmetic dentistry, Penthrox, oral surgery, endodontics, children's dentistry, and relative analgesia.

Renowned for her gentle nature and calming approach, Dr Kenton is always striving to ensure her patients feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits. Understanding that some patients are anxious when visiting the dentist, she goes above and beyond to ensure they're left feeling confident and happy with their dental treatment. Dr Kenton also continues her education and professional development to ensure her patients receive the best in dental care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Kenton enjoys getting outdoors, camping, 4 wheel driving and fishing. She also has interests in cooking and playing chess, and spending quality time with her two sons Taj and Kai.

Maven Dental Greenwood welcomed Milry Braun to the team as a dental hygienist in August 2006. Originally qualified with a Bachelor of Science from the Macquarie University, Milry began her dental career as a dental assistant. In 2005 she returned to university completing her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene with distinction (Curtin University, Perth). During her studies she was awarded the Colgate Award for Best Hygiene Student.

Passionate about dental hygiene Milry is often attending dental seminars and reading up on the latest in dental practice. Employing this knowledge, she is committed to helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health and function. In her role as a hygienist, Milry has developed special interests in the areas of tailored home care programs, supportive periodontal therapy, diagnosis and management of early/advanced periodontal conditions, oral health education and promotion, and oral health risk assessment and prevention.

Away from the practice Milry enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She is also an enthusiastic tennis player, cook, artist and reader.

Rod Cabling joined the Maven Dental Greenwood team in June 2021. He graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Newcastle and is a current member of OHAA.

Working in the dental field for over 20 years has provided a wide experience for his current work. Rod is a thorough dental hygienist & known for his gentle care. He collaborates with our team of dentists in providing quality healthcare to his patient’s oral needs and sees to it that nervous or anxious patients will be comfortable in the dental chair.

Rod is passionate about educating patients' on oral health to meet the best care and finds joy to see patients satisfied after each appointment.

Rod enjoys spending time with family & friends. He likes gardening, travelling, cooking & walking. 

Yolanda completed a conversion program for overseas dentists to become dental hygienists in Adelaide in 2003. Since then, she has dedicated nearly 22 years to providing high-quality dental hygiene care. Known for her gentle and thorough approach, Yolanda tailors each treatment to meet the individual needs of her patients. She is passionate about helping people achieve better oral health and believes that a healthy mouth is an important foundation for overall wellbeing.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Yolanda regularly updates her skills and knowledge by attending webinars, seminars, and continuing education courses. She enjoys sharing practical oral health advice and empowering her patients to maintain healthy smiles.

Before migrating to Australia, Yolanda worked in Taiwan. She is fluent in Mandarin, Hokkien, and Tagalog, allowing her to communicate effectively with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Outside of work, Yolanda enjoys lap swimming and dancing several times a week. When she finds some quiet time, she also enjoys practising Chinese calligraphy and sewing.
