Dr Biju Mahadev
Dr Biju Mahadev graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Mysore, India in 1997. After his initial studies, he interned J.S.S Dental College and worked within private dental practice in India. It was during this time that he found his passion for Orthodontics and went on to complete a Master of Dental Surgery at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, India in 2004.

Over the course of his career, Dr Biju has gained extensive experience lecturing orthodontics, conducting valuable research, and working as an orthodontist and senior general practitioner at the Ministry of Health. He has also spent some time working at the Cleft lip and Palate unit at M.O.H. in Kuwait. He now brings his broad skill set and friendly smile to the team at Maven Dental Invermay.
Experienced across a wide range of dental services, Dr Biju enjoys putting a smile on his patients’ faces whether it be providing routine general dentistry or more complex treatments such as Invisalign.
Outside of his practice, Dr Biju loves spending time with his family, playing tennis and badminton, reading, and going on long drives. He also has a keen eye for photography.

Dr Callum holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Commendation) from the University of Dundee, Scotland, 1992.
With a dental career spanning over 30 years in both Scotland and Australia, Callum has very broad experience as a clinician. He has worked in public, private, rural and remote, hospital and university positions splitting time between clinical and senior management positions.
Callum grew up in Scotland before emigrating to Australia in 2003. He feels fortunate to be able to call both Tasmania and Scotland “home”.

Working in Oral Maxillofacial Dentistry in the UK cemented his interest in surgical dentistry and treatment for medically compromised patients. He is an advocate for comprehensive discussion to help you define treatment needs and options, and most enjoys interactions with patients and the precision required for modern dentistry.
Outside of work, Callum likes to travel and spends his time outdoors cycling, hiking, kayaking and motorcycling. He drives an old Land Rover and, when not driving it, he's usually repairing it!
