Originally from Glasglow, Dr Katie Ireland graduated with a BDS from the University of Dundee and became fully qualified in 2017. She previously worked in a variety of family dental practices across Scotland before moving to the Sunshine Coast.
Dr Katie has a clinical interest in children’s dentistry. "It's nice to see their confidence grow as they get used to coming to the dentist," she says. She's also interested in extractions - finding them especially rewarding when it solves a patient’s source of pain.
Most of all, she enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them.
Katie loves being outdoors, and her favourite hobbies are running and yoga. She likes travelling and seeing new places.

Stewart enjoys family dentistry and supporting patients with their oral health. He believes in reviewing patients after completed treatment to ensure they are satisfied and comfortable with any changes made. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and playing golf.
Dr Katie Hewitson is an associate dentist from Leeds in the North of the United Kingdom who joined Maven Dental in 2022. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes pride in helping anxious patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She also loves treating the little ones. Hassan graduated from Otago University in New Zealand in 2011. He has also completed a post graduate certificate at Melbourne University in 2016. After working across a few clinics in Australia, Hassan moved and fell in love with Sunshine Coast in 2014.
Hassan's main focus revolves around preventive and restorative dentistry, especially children and adults who have dental phobia or anxiety.
Hassan met his partner Melika about 2.5 years ago. They own two fur babies and love long beach walks.
