Dr Shipway joined the Morley Dental Centre in 2003 and is passionate about working alongside a great team to deliver exceptional dental care to the local communities. Ensuring he delivers the best quality care to his patients, he regularly keeps up to date with the latest in new technologies and practices across all aspects of dentistry.
Away from the practice, Dr Shipway enjoys playing golf, tennis and going for leisurely walks. He is also married with four children and takes a keen interest in their sporting events.
Dr John Scully
Originally from South Africa, Dr John Scully graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 1985. After receiving his dental qualifications he gained experience owning his own dental practice in Johannesburg until July 2004 and has since relocated to Australia and joined the Morley Dental Centre.
Dr Scully is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and strives to stay abreast the latest techniques and materials by attending congresses national and internationally.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Scully is a keen golfer and thoroughly enjoys fishing and playing a social game of squash. His wife Bev and their two children are enjoying the Perth lifestyle and enjoy exploring Western Australia and meeting new friends.
Dr Daniel Leslie
Born and raised in Perth, Dr Daniel Leslie attended the University of Western Australia and graduated with his dental qualifications in 2010. Dr Leslie's career has seen him gain valuable experience working in both public and private dentistry at locations such as Shark Bay and Leonora.
Dr Leslie is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, however, holds a special interest in oral medicine. He regularly attends continuing education courses to ensure he remains up to date with the latest in dental practices to support families in maintain healthy mouths and teeth for life.
Away from the practice, Dr Leslie is often found cooking (particularly desserts), gardening to grow fresh ingredients for the kitchen and travelling.
Dr Troy Ridgwell
Dr Troy Ridgwell, born and raised Perth local, joined the team at Maven Dental Morley as a friendly and passionate associate dentist. After graduating from a Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Western Australia in 2019, Dr Troy has worked in two private practices in the Perth Hills where he gained extensive clinical experience and knowledge.

Dr Troy is passionate about servicing his Perth community and finds great pleasure out of meeting different people and educating them to improve their oral health. Dr Troy firming believes that healthy teeth make a positive difference to overall health and wellbeing.
When he’s not talking teeth, Dr Troy enjoys taking trips in his camping trailer and having some ‘screen free’ time outdoors sightseeing, fishing, 4wding and exploring with his wife and two young children in nature. He also loves watching a good movie or tv show.
Dr Mahesh Thyagarajan
Dr Mahesh, originally from Bombay, has been working in Perth since 2009 and has recently started seeing patients at Maven Dental Morley! He has advanced training in orthodontics and a master’s degree in prosthodontics. Other areas of specialty include; Fixed Braces, Implants, Invisalign and Sleep Dentistry.
His aim is for people to feel happier and better informed about their dental health. In addition to Australia, he has worked in Russia, India, and UAE. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his son, swimming, and reading.
Dr Emma Hunter
Dr Emma Hunter was welcomed to the Maven Dental Morley practice as a highly passionate and experienced associate dentist. Dr Hunter completed her dental qualifications at the University of Dundee, Scotland, in 2010. She began her career working in the UK NHS system before relocating to Perth to enjoy a change in lifestyle.
While enjoying and offering all aspects of dentistry, Dr Hunter has a particular passion for helping nervous patients to feel comfortable and confident within the practice. She regularly furthers her skills and knowledge within her field by attending continuing professional development courses and additionally is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Hunter spends her spare time indoor rock climbing, running and eating out.

Dr Jazeera Faizal is a talented Associate Dentist practicing from Maven Dental Morley. She has experience working overseas and in Australia, both in private and public sectors.
Graduating from Calicut University, Dr Jazeera worked in India until 2017. She then became qualified to practice in Australia and has worked here ever since.
