Meet The Team

Dr Shaili Shah is local to the Mackay area, being here since 2015. She has worked in the dental industry for more than 12 years and has experience in all aspects of General Dentistry. She’s empathetic and proficient with her work and is eager to tend to your dental needs and provide any necessary treatment. 

She has a special interest in the following.

• Prosthodontics: Preservation, Restoration, Rehabilitation of damaged and missing teeth, including implants, and Maintenance 
• Alignment of teeth (Invisalign)
• Cosmetic dentistry: Teeth whitening, Composite or ceramic build-up (crowns and veneers)

She has also completed a mini-residency in Fixed Prosthodontics and is a certified Invisalign provider.

Shaili is married and settled in Mackay with two kids. Outside of work, she loves to cook, be active, spend time with family and explore new places and food. 

Dr Ankita Dhareula is a dedicated dentist with over 15 years of experience across both private and public sectors in India, caring for patients in general and paediatric dentistry. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (2012) and a Master of Dental Surgery in Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (2016), and has also gained valuable experience in hospital settings, treating a wide variety of patients and clinical needs.

Coming from a family with a strong healthcare background, Ankita always felt drawn to helping others. Dentistry became a natural path, since it blends her commitment to high‑quality care with her artistic sensibility. She has a particular passion for children’s dentistry, as well as aesthetic and cosmetic treatments, and remains devoted to ongoing learning as dental science evolves, especially in new areas of surgical dentistry.

For Ankita, nothing is more rewarding than restoring a smile. Outside the clinic, she loves travelling the world, exploring scenic landscapes, and practising daily meditation to maintain balance and mindfulness.

Dr Matt Ncube our principal dentist established Flagstone Dental Centre to create an environment for patients that is welcoming and provides exceptional care. He prides himself in caring for patients to make their dental experience a positive one. He strives to ensure patients understand all of their treatment options so the best care and understanding can be achieved.

Dr Matt has holds a PhD in Engineering from England, Grad Diploma of Dentistry- Australia, Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science, Cert Ortho (UK). Dr Matt also completed a Fellowship in Reconstructive Implantology through Implant-ED, Brisbane, Australia. Although Dr Matt is very comfortable with all aspects of dentistry, he is highly conversant in Implantology and can provide single and multiple implants, including full mouth rehabilitations, bone grafts and soft tissue augmentation surgery.

When not working Matt enjoys watching soccer, gardening, writing and listening to music. Dr Matt will always greet you with a big smile and he looks forward to meeting more people from our wonderful community and providing ongoing care to maintain healthy teeth and creating some beautiful smiles.

Dr Reesha Dedio completed her Bachelor of Dental Health Science and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University in Australia. Before becoming a dentist, she trained and practised as a dental prosthetist in Canada, earning an Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics and gaining extensive experience in removable dentures and implant‑supported care.

Reesha is a warm, patient‑focused dentist who prioritises calm, comfortable treatment in a welcoming environment. She takes time to listen, explain options clearly, and help patients feel confident in their dental care. Her background in dental prosthetics gives her a strong appreciation for both the function and aesthetics of a healthy smile.

She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interest in restoring the health, function and appearance of her patients’ smiles. Reesha provides cosmetic treatments ranging from subtle enhancements to comprehensive smile rehabilitation. Her clinical interests include natural‑looking restorations such as crowns, composite veneers and porcelain veneers, as well as replacing missing teeth with dentures or implant‑supported options. She also performs surgical procedures, including extractions, with a gentle and supportive approach.

Reesha finds it especially rewarding to help patients feel comfortable, supported and confident in their smile, whether through improving oral health, restoring function or enhancing aesthetics.

Outside the clinic, Reesha enjoys beach walks, strength training, pilates and spending quality time with family. She is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly undertakes further training to ensure her care remains current, evidence‑based and focused on achieving the best outcomes for her patients.
