Dr Sam Martin
Dr Sam Martin completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of New England, residing at St Alberts College where he acted as a senior academic advisor on microbiology and genetics. Following this he then completed his bachelor of dentistry at Sydney University.
Dr Martin has a wealth of knowledge and experience in a large variety of dental fields, but he is especially passionate about staying up-to-date with new advances in dentistry. Sam has a keen interest in ceramics and related materials and has studied CEREC dentistry in-depth. He is also trained in dental implants and brings significant experience in minor oral surgery and implant work.

Joining the team at Nambucca Dental Surgery in August 2021, Dr Harry Bird is an experienced and friendly associate dentist. Dr Harry completed his Bachelor of Oral health / Dental Science with a Graduate Diploma in 2017 at Griffith University. After his studies, Dr Harry worked across various private practices in Maclean, Grafton, and Brisbane, before settling down and calling Nambucca Heads home.

Although Dr Harry enjoys all aspects of general, family dentistry, he is particularly passionate about creating positive dental experiences for his patients and is a big advocate for preventing dental disease before treatment is required. He believes patient education is of utmost importance to ensure a healthy smile for life.
Outside of the practice, Dr Harry lives a very active lifestyle. He is an avid sport fan and is often found playing cricket, tennis, rugby or going for a surf. He loves a good podcast and enjoys getting lost in a good, non-fiction, history book.

This decision was influenced by the desire for a quieter lifestyle and the attraction of the beautiful coastal setting.
