Dr Ye’s areas of interest are (in his own words):

  1. Preventative dentistry – educating patients on small changes can greatly improve oral health and quality of life.
  2. Minimally invasive dentistry – modern materials and approaches now mean treatments can be less destructive and more comfortable.
  3. Keeping abreast of the latest dental technologies and upskilling – the modern world is in a state of flux and dentistry is no exception.

Johnson enjoys being a dentist because it provides an unparalleled opportunity to engage with a broad cross-section of the community and help to improve the lives of patients.

He’s a self-confessed “history, politics and economics nerd”, a huge Formula One racing fan, enjoys watching cricketer Steve Smith score runs, watching documentaries, and listening to indie rock. Dr Ye is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and loves to use metaphors!
