Maven Dental Supports Bushfire Relief

Like everyone, our hearts are hurting from the devastation the bushfires have caused and continue to cause across Australia. This bushfire emergency is one of the worst disasters in Australia's history destroying millions of hectares and leaving behind devastated families, communities and environment.

At Maven Dental we're providing support and resources to our team members, patients and local communities as they begin to rebuild.

  • Maven Dental have made a contribution to Red Cross and Wires;
  • We have extended the use of the Maven Dental Employee Assistance Program to all existing patients providing 24/7 psychological and financial support as they commence the recovery and rebuild phase
  • Paid disaster leave up to $15,000 for all team members, including casuals who were and remain unable to attend work
  • For patients who have lost personal dental items as a result of the bushfires, such as retainers, trays, mouthguards and splints, Maven will offer to replace these items at no cost to the patient
  • Dental kits for the local evacuation centres to provide some basic essentials
  • Storage facilities for personal belongings where team members have been required to evacuate, can't return to their properties or lost their homes
  • On site support and wellbeing check in with the team members

Chris Williams, Maven Dental General Manager, is committed to continuing support to the communities, people and volunteers that have been impacted by the bushfires as well as supporting all Maven team members and clinicians through this devastating time.

Australia is currently experiencing one of the worst bushfire seasons in history. Our focus is on ensuring the safety of our people but also looking at ways we can extend support to our patients, the volunteers and local communities as they rebuild from the disasters.

To all the brave firefighters, emergency service members and those who have donated their time and money, we say thank you. Our heart is with all those who have been impacted by the devastation caused by the bushfires and those that continue to fight as we battle through one of the worst bushfires our country has seen. Maven Dental will continue to look for ways we can provide support and hope that the steps we have put in place will provide some relief to the burdens that are already being faced.
