We know how important it is to donate blood, so we have set ourselves a target to save one hundred lives in the month of February and we're well on our way in achieving that goal.
Giving blood is one of the most generous things you can do for another person, and Australia needs 31,000 donations every week. This is why we're encouraging our network of clinicians and our patients to donate blood today.
Chris Williams, Maven Dental General Manager, is leading the charge and was one of the first within the network to donate blood.
Mr Williams said that not only will we save one hundred lives, but when we hit our goal, Maven will be making a cash donation to the Heart Foundation, so they can continue their vital work.
“– Melissa B, Maven Dental Blood Donor"It only takes 10 minutes out of my day to save three lives, what a rewarding way to give back to the community"”
“– Bec R, Maven Dental Plasma Donor"My reasons for donating plasma is that I know it can help so many people. They use it for many reasons, such as for cancer patients, burn victims and even making vaccinations"”
