Recently relocating from the UK to enjoy Australia's sun-kissed shores, Dr Beth Peters brings with her a wealth of experience and a gentle touch to the Alstonville Family Dental clinic. Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Newcastle University in 2017, Dr Beth further augmented her credentials by earning recognition from the esteemed Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in 2022.

Having honed her skills at Sandon Dental Practice in Chester, UK, for nearly five years, Dr Beth developed a particular affinity for restorative dentistry. Passionate about preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of her patients' smiles, her approach intertwines clinical excellence with a comforting chairside manner. This gentle touch proves invaluable, especially when treating young patients and those with dental anxieties. She finds immense satisfaction in helping nervous individuals transform their apprehension into confidence during dental visits.

At the core of her professional ethos, Dr Beth values building genuine relationships with her patients, ensuring their dental journey is as seamless as possible. She's proud to be part of a seasoned team, encompassing talented dentists, hygienists, nurses, and reception staff, all dedicated to delivering top-tier care.

When the dental coat comes off, Dr Beth is an avid fitness enthusiast, often challenging herself at the local CrossFit gym. Embracing the Australian way of life, she's currently diving into the art of surfing. Balancing her professional dedication with personal passions, Dr Beth exemplifies a holistic approach to wellness, both inside and out.

Recently joining the Alstonville Family Dental Team, Dr Steven Kleiman brings 40 years of dental experience having owned dental practices in Cape Town, South Africa and Tauranga, New Zealand. 

Graduating a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg , South Africa
in 1985, Dr Kleiman brings a wealth of clinical experience to the Alstonville Family Dental team.

Dr Kleiman enjoys all areas of dentistry, from restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, crowns and bridgework, through to implant restoration. With a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry to restore patients' smiles and confidence, Dr Kleiman's focus is on ensuring a positive experience for every patient by prioritising communication, listening with empathy and communicating with clarity. 

A family man married to Lee, a fashion designer and artist, Dr Kleiman has two adventurous and creative adult children living in Byron Bay. 
Dr Kleiman considers himself a compulsive learner and values continued professional development by regularly attending courses on the most up to date procedures and treatments to ensure the most comprehensive treatment options are available to his patients.

In his spare time, you will find him enjoying the surf our beautiful coastline has to offer, hitting a round of golf, or enjoying music and reading in his spare time. 

After graduating in 2016 from the University of Dundee in Scotland, Dr Laura Donohoe moved back home to Glasgow to work as an associate dentist. She worked in one practice for the next three years where she was able to build up her skillset before she decided to make the move to Australia. She moved to Melbourne in September 2019 and worked as an associate dentist in North Melbourne before joining the skilled and friendly team at Maven Dental Plateau, Alstonville. Dr Laura is now thrilled to join our new team at Alstonville Family Dental from November 2025.

Laura enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from the daily patient interactions to the satisfaction gained from getting her patients out of pain or restoring their confidence in their smile. Clinically, her key interests lie in oral surgery, endodontics, and short-term orthodontics.

A long time keen runner, in her spare time you'll often find Laura out on a long run or competing in a race. She loves most sports and being active and enjoys trying out new recipes in the kitchen. Most of all, she loves to spend time with friends and family over good food and a wine.
