Dr Yip grew up in the north-western suburbs of Sydney before moving to Brisbane to complete his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland, graduating from with First Class Honours. His studies saw him being awarded numerous prizes including the Australian Society of Endodontology Prize and the Australian Dental Association Prize. He started to practice at the Dr J. A. Chau Dental Surgeons clinic in 2017.
Away from his practice, Dr Yip is an avid San Antonio Spurs supporter and enjoys exploring the beautiful landscapes and offerings of Tasmania on his weekends.

Having been a nervous patient herself as a child, she has a soft spot for those less than thrilled to be in the dental chair – making her an expert in managing patients with lingering dental anxiety.
While some of her favourite patients are typically either the very young or very “experienced”, she has a keen interest in empowering patients of all ages to reach their aesthetic goals and smile with confidence.
