FAQs

The cost of visiting a prosthodontist will depend on the treatment necessary. Additional fees will apply if you require sedation or a general anaesthetic. Your prosthodontist will recommend a treatment option best suited to you and give you an estimate of the price and payment options during your consultation visit.

Your prosthodontist will assess the procedure and discuss your best options for treatment. This will involve a local anaesthetic to numb the area, however they may also include different sedation options to help you feel more relaxed during the procedure.

Whilst general dentists may often have a special interest in tooth replacement treatments, prosthodontists are dental specialists in the process of teeth restoration and replacement. They have extensive training, qualifications and experience to provide a special understanding of the dynamics of smiles and the preservation of a health mouth.
