Dr Lynsey Summers
Originally from Scotland, Dr Lynsey moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2025 and has been enjoying her time at Gympie Southside Dental ever since. She has loved getting to know the Gympie community and feels privileged to care for patients of all ages.
Lynsey has a particular passion for supporting nervous patients, taking the time to help them feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a strong focus on prevention and long-term oral health.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find her practising yoga or pilates, hiking, and exploring the beautiful landscapes of Queensland.
Tali Chalk
Tali graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from Central Queensland University in 2025. Before becoming an Oral Health Therapist, she worked as a dental assistant across two Maven Dental practices, giving her a strong foundation in patient care and hands-on clinical experience.
Tali is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental environment. She especially loves working with children and supporting a new generation to grow up without dental fear or trauma. Outside of the clinic, Tali loves staying active and has completed multiple half marathons. She’s also an avid reader and enjoys unwinding with video games in her downtime.
Leigh Chapman
Leigh graduated her Bachelor of Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene in 2008 and soon after went on to complete a postgrad certificate in Advanced Dental Therapy (Adultscope) in 2015. Leigh has been working within the dental industry for nearly 40 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients.
Leigh enjoys treating both children and adults and strives to provide an excellent level of service to her patients. She has a knack for settling dental anxiety and loves seeing her patients return for routine check-ups with a smile.
