Meet The Team

Chris graduated from the University of London, UK with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1989 fine-tuning his knowledge and skills at a specialist periodontal practice for four years.  After 16 years of running his own practice in the UK, Dr Chris Lang made the move to Australia and relocated his practice to Halls Head Dental Centre.

Chris loves challenging himself and enjoys learning new techniques in the dental industry. He regularly attends professional development seminars and courses. Chris has also completed a Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry at the Global Institute for Dental Education.

Dr Lang is passionate about oral surgery and dental implants. He enjoys seeing the improvements in his patients after completing advanced and complex cases.

Away from dentistry, you can find Chris out in the water on his sailboat.

Dr Vish Selvaraj is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist who is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to his patients. With a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia, Dr Selvaraj brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clinic.

Having worked in both public and private practices across Australia since graduating in 2017, Dr Selvaraj has gained valuable experience in treating a diverse range of patients. He has a special interest in working with anxious patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease throughout their treatment.

Dr Selvaraj's professional interests include crown and bridge placement, as he appreciates the long-lasting and transformative effects of fixed dental treatments. He also excels in extractions and focuses on creating a relaxing and comfortable environment for his patients during these procedures.

What sets Dr Selvaraj apart is his genuine enjoyment of his work. He takes great pleasure in meeting new people and listening to their unique stories. Working with a small and friendly team, he values the opportunity to make a positive impact on his patients' oral health and overall well-being.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Selvaraj leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys playing tennis, exploring new destinations through travel, and challenging himself through CrossFit training.

Growing up in Melbourne, Dr Mona He graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedicine at Monash University in 2018 before making the move to Perth to pursue her passion in dentistry, completing a Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Western Australia in 2023. Her experience spans public dental health services in both rural and metropolitan areas, providing her with a well-rounded perspective in dental care.

Post-graduation, Dr Mona was drawn to the relaxed lifestyle and proximity to the beach that Mandurah provided, moving down here to practice from our clinics at Halls Head and Falcon. She lives by the principles of honesty, integrity, and empathy, treating her patients with the same care and consideration she would extend to her family.

Dr Mona's clinical interests are comprehensive, with a particular focus on preventative dentistry. She believes in the importance of maintaining good oral health to prevent future problems and is equally passionate about aesthetic and restorative dentistry, oral surgery, oral medicine, and endodontics.

What Dr Mona finds most fulfilling about being a dentist is the ability to care for her patients and help them achieve the confident smile they deserve. Witnessing the immediate positive impact of dental treatments and building meaningful relationships with her patients is immensely gratifying to her.

Outside of her dental practice, Dr Mona is an outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys hiking, snorkelling, and leisurely walks, embracing the natural beauty of her surroundings. Her love for reading is evident in her choice of romance and fantasy genres, making her free time a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Dr Irene Zhang is a skilled dentist with a rich academic background. She completed her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Anatomy and Human Biology, from the University of Western Australia in 2018, and later graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the same institution in 2023. Her early career in dentistry, marked by experiences in the public health sector across both rural and metropolitan areas, has equipped her with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of patient needs.

Raised in Perth, Dr Irene was drawn to Mandurah for its relaxed lifestyle, stunning natural beauty, and strong community ethos. This move was a significant step in pursuing her passion for dentistry in an environment that reflects her personal values. From a young age, Dr Irene exhibited a keen interest in visual arts and a natural aptitude for health sciences, making her choice to become a dentist a harmonious blend of her talents and interests.

With patient-centred care being her highest priority, Dr Irene is committed to ensuring her patients have a positive experience during their dental visits. She is dedicated to empowering her patients with the knowledge and tools necessary for taking charge of their oral health, fostering a holistic appreciation of health and wellness.

Her clinical interests are broad, with a focus on preventative dentistry and a keen interest in periodontics, advocating for strong patient-practitioner relationships as a cornerstone of effective treatment plans. Dr Irene also takes pride in her work in restorative dentistry, where she helps restore her patients' confidence and well-being.

Outside the dental clinic, Dr Irene's artistic side shines through in her hobbies; drawing, painting, and sewing. She also enjoys keeping physically active with a game of tennis (albeit self-professedly poorly), and by going on long runs (at her own pace).

Graduating top of her class at Trinity College’s Dublin Dental School and Hospital, Shauna McCormack is a talented hygienist. She is a bubbly character who enjoys meeting new patients and fostering comfortable relationships with them.

Shauna took the plunge and made the move to Australia in 2013 after 8 years practicing in Ireland and the UK. She began working as a Dental Assistant before practicing as a hygienist once her Australian registration was approved.

Shauna loves being a hygienist and finds everything about dentistry fascinating. She enjoys keeping up to date with all the latest concepts and treatments in dentistry to ensure she provides her patients with the best care possible. She also has a keen interest in periodontal disease and treating anxious or nervous patients.

Away from dentistry, Shauna loves spending her spare time going on adventures with her young family and keeping fit at yoga. She also loves travelling and is always planning her next trip away.

Christina Predreschi is a highly experienced and passionate dental hygienist. She completed her Associate Diploma of Dental Therapy at the School of Dental Therapy in Western Australia in 1979 and brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients.

Throughout her career, Christina has gained a plethora of knowledge working within both public and private, specialist, periodontal practice for many years.

She is also a passionate about educating future Hygienists’ and has also worked as a professional educator lecturing at Curtin University on a part time basis.

Christina particularly enjoys periodontal treatment as she loves seeing improvement in the oral health of her patients. She understands that overall wellness starts in the mouth and therefore stives to motivate her patients to prioritise and improve oral health.

Outside of dentistry Christina lives an active lifestyle and can be found cycling, swimming, and spending time with her family. She loves to travel and has spent a portion of each year in France for the past decade!

Eva graduated from the University of the Highlands and Islands in 2011 with a degree in Oral Health Science and was awarded with a clinical prize. She worked in the UK for 13 years as a dental hygienist and therapist.

She joined Halls Head Dental Group in 2024. Eva is especially interested in treating nervous patients and children. To facilitate this, Eva is taking courses to expand her training in other areas.

Eva was shortlisted in the following categories at the 2014 Dental Hygiene and Therapy Awards: Best Young Hygienist 2014 and Best Child Dental Health Initiative. Eva was also a Finalist in the Hygienist of the Year at the 2015 and 2017 Dental Awards.

In her free time, Eva likes spending time with her family. She is adventurous and enjoys an outdoor lifestyle. She is a fun and bubbly character who cares deeply for those around her. Always attentive and supportive, Eva will go the extra mile to support her patients and ensure they are happy with their dental care.
