Step 2: Planning and Previewing Treatment

Teeth Straightening with Invisalign®
Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear plastic removable orthodontic aligners to gently move your teeth in small increments. Invisalign aligners are clear, comfortable, and custom-made to gently guide your teeth into the desired position.
For the best results, Invisalign clear aligners are to be worn 20 to 22 hours a day. Each aligner is slightly different, you’ll wear a set of aligners for one to two weeks or as prescribed by your dentist, before moving on to the next set.
Your dentist will closely monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal results.
Dental Veneers

The cost of cosmetic dentistry will depend on the type of treatment needed. It is best to discuss your desired results and what treatment options are most suitable for you with your Maven dentist or specialist.
The length of time that teeth whitening lasts depends on many contributing factors including your lifestyle and habits that originally caused teeth to stain. Most people find that it is a few years before the stains reappear to the level before treatment. Our clinic also has home touch-up kits available to top up to help further enhance the whitening.
Teeth whitening is safe when done correctly or as advised by your Maven dentist. It is important to visit the dentist for a consultation before undergoing any whitening treatment. At Maven Dental, we assess the overall oral health and teeth condition allowing us to check if your teeth are suitable for whitening treatments. We advise against ordering DIY teeth whitening kits online that aren’t dental grade, as you don’t know if it is safe to use or if your teeth are suitable.
Invisalign's clear aligner technology works by gently moving your teeth in small increments. The aligners are custom-made to your teeth and are changed out every couple of weeks depending on your progress.
The length of your Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your case. Your Invisalign provider will talk to you about the options available to you and treatment times can be anywhere from 6 to 24 months.
Aligners are most effective when worn at least 20 to 22 hours a day. We recommend only removing for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing and flossing your teeth.
Dental veneers can last decades if you care for them. Porcelain veneers generally last between 10 and 25 years with proper care and maintenance, while composite veneers can last around 4-8 years.
If an experienced, trusted dentist places your dental veneers, they will not ruin your teeth. In fact, dental veneers can have the opposite effect and protect your teeth from oral health issues.
The life span of your dental implants, crowns and bridges will depend on many contributing factors including your oral hygiene routine and how well you look after your mouth. We recommend regular dental check-up and clean appointments to take the best care of your oral health.
Factors that may affect the lifespan of your dental implant are:

- Diet
- Bone mass
With proper hygiene and check-ups, the implants themselves can last your whole lifetime. The crown attached to the implant will generally need to be replaced every, depending on how well they have been looked after.
Dental implants are made from materials that do not cause harm or adverse reactions, with titanium being the most common. In addition to being safe, strong, and durable, titanium can also fuse with the jawbone. This integration ensures the implant is stable and long-lasting. In some cases, dental implants may use other materials such as zirconia. Your dentist will discuss the best implant material for your specific scenario.
The dental crowns that cover the implants are usually made of porcelain, gold, stainless steel, or ceramic materials. Temporary crowns are made of an inexpensive material like plastic or metal so they can be removed easily.
