Dr Min Jee Hwang

Dr Min Jee is a kind and gentle dentist who loves seeing a positive change in her patients' lives through their new smiles. She is a member of the ADA and believes everyone deserves a happy, healthy smile.

Dr Min Jee enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but her special interests are restorative dentistry and crown and bridge work. She also provides orthodontic treatments and adjustments using Invisalign. Dr Min Jee is introducing implant dentistry to the practice and plans to further her studies in that field.

What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® treatment uses a series of clear plastic removable orthodontic aligners to gently move your teeth in small increments. For the best results, Invisalign clear aligners are to be worn 20 to 22 hours a day. Each aligner is slightly different, you’ll wear a set of aligners for one to two weeks or as prescribed by your dentist, before moving onto the next set.

How much does Invisalign® cost?

How long does Invisalign® treatment take?

The length of your Invisalign® treatment will depend on the movement required to straighten your teeth and can only be determined by a dentist or orthodontist. During your Free Consultation, we'll provide a recommended treatment length as part of your custom treatment plan.

Is Invisalign® treatment painful?

You may experience the discomfort of pressure for the few days that follow each aligner change. This is completely normal and is a sign that the clear aligners are moving your teeth into their straighter position. Any pain or discomfort that you experience will be noticeably less than traditional metal braces can cause.

You will need regular appointments
- At the consultation, your dentist will examine your teeth and advise whether this treatment is suitable for you
- You will then have regular progress appointments, usually once every 4 to 6 weeks, to make sure your treatment is on track

The consultation will usually take around 30 to 60 minutes
Progress appointments will usually take less than 30 minutes
