Meet The Team

Dr David Nestor from Galway, in the west of Ireland completed his undergraduate dental training in Trinity College Dublin, graduating in 2009. Following graduation Dr David spent a number of years working in Belfast, treating patients in private practice and also treating patients in the public system. During this time he achieved membership to the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh through the MJDF and MFDS examinations.

Dr David made his way to sunny Far North Queensland in 2015 and spent a number of years practising in Innisfail and enjoying the laid-back lifestyle of the Far North. He keeps up to date with postgraduate learning and courses in Australia and overseas.

Dr David relocated his practice to Maven Dental Robina in 2019 and shows a keen interest in restorative dentistry, including crowns, bridges, veneers and implant crowns. He takes pride in being a gentle dentist and takes the time to explain the treatment options to his patient.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys golf, travel photography and hiking.

Dr. Pulkit Lakhani is a highly qualified dental professional with a deep passion for advancing oral health. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from SGT Dental College, Budhera, Haryana, where he studied from 2007 to 2012. Following his undergraduate studies, he pursued a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at DAV (C) Dental College, Yamunanagar, from 2013 to 2016. During this time, he honed his expertise in aligning teeth and correcting facial irregularities, further solidifying his commitment to providing top-notch orthodontic care. In addition, Dr. Pulkit Lakhani is a certified implantologist through the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), USA, which reflects his proficiency in modern dental implant techniques.

Dr. Pulkit Lakhani has accumulated substantial clinical experience throughout his career. Early in his journey, he worked part-time at Malik Dental Clinic in Rewari, Haryana, for six months, where he gained valuable experience in general dentistry.

He also served at LALL Nursing Home in Gurgaon for four months, further refining his diagnostic and treatment planning skills. During his internship at SGT Multispecialty Urban Centre, Delhi, he received extensive exposure to a variety of cases, assisting in both routine and complex dental procedures. Additionally, Dr. Pulkit Lakhani had the opportunity to work as a clinical assistant at the prestigious Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi, in the Departments of Periodontics and Prosthodontics, where he spent four months working alongside experienced specialists.

Originally from the west of Ireland, Dr Rachel graduated in 2009 from Trinity College Dublin and spent the next 5 years working in private practice in Ireland. During this time she gained experience in all aspects of dentistry including Orthodontics and placement of permanent bonded retainers.

Dr Rachel is an extremely gentle dentist with a knack for calming nervous patients and is also great with children. With this, she has a keen interest in Paediatric dentistry after working for a year in the Irish public health system exclusively treating children.

Dr Rachel became a member of the Rcsed in 2013 after completing MJDf and MFDS examinations. In 2015, Rachel relocated to Cairns where she continued to work in private practice offering a wide range of dental treatments. She is currently undertaking training in cosmetic facial treatment and is looking forward to offering this service to her patients in the near future.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys playing sports including hockey and golf.

Dr Wonjoon Lee is a friendly dentist. Originally from South Korea, Dr Lee immigrated to Australia and went on to complete a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2016.

After graduating, Dr Lee worked across various practices throughout the rural regions of New South Wales as an associate dentist where he gained thorough experience in all aspects of general dentistry.

Throughout his years in practice, Dr Lee has developed a keen passion for cosmetic dentistry and finds great satisfaction in restoring the natural function of the mouth, enhancing his patients' smiles. Though he enjoys all aspects of cosmetic dentistry he particularly enjoys implant treatment.

When not practicing, Dr Lee enjoys spending quality time with his close friends and family members.

Dr Anuja Pradhan, a seasoned dental professional, graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1996. With a rich background in general dentistry, she has honed her expertise in crown and bridge work, cosmetic procedures, and restorative dentistry. Dr Anuja is deeply committed to building trusting relationships with her patients, adopting a holistic approach to dental care.

Dr Anuja takes pride in treating her patients comprehensively, addressing complex dental cases that involve multiple restorations and maintenance plans. She finds great satisfaction in improving her patients' overall health through meticulous dental care.

At Maven Dental Robina, Dr Anuja is known for her gentle approach, especially with anxious patients. Her goal is always to put her patients at ease, and the smiles she sees at the end of appointments are the most rewarding part of her job.

Beyond her professional life, Dr Anuja is a mother to a teenage boy and two dogs. She has a keen interest in exploring the mysteries of the universe through reading and enjoys delving into various topics that pique her curiosity.

Dr Anuja's passion for dentistry is matched by her dedication to a holistic lifestyle. She enjoys growing her own produce and cooking meals from scratch. Weekends often find her enjoying live music with a glass of wine in the company of friends. A firm believer in the benefits of meditation and yoga, she incorporates these practices into her daily life to maintain balance and wellness.

Dr. Nav is not just a skilled dentist; she’s your trusted dental partner. Holding a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India and having lived in the US before settling in Australia, her diverse experiences enrich every patient interaction. Passionate about both the art and science of dentistry, Dr. Nav is committed to preventive care, ensuring issues are addressed before they arise. 

Tailoring treatments to meet individual needs, she takes great pride in helping patients out of pain and restoring healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Nav specialises in General Dental services, with a strong focus on Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, including veneers, crown and bridge work, Invisalign, and oral surgery such as wisdom tooth extractions. Continuously committed to professional development and upskilling, she is currently pursuing advanced training in Dental Implants. 

Fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, Dr. Nav creates a warm and welcoming environment for her patients, fostering strong connections through personalised care. Outside of the clinic, she is a devoted mother who loves spending time with her husband and three children. Whether it's going for bike rides, enjoying long walks on the beach, or engaging in creative DIY projects, her family and love of gardening keep her busy and fulfilled. 

Dr. Nav's friendly and caring nature means she genuinely enjoys getting to know her patients personally, often remembering small details like the names of their pets or their children’s ages. Swapping England for the Gold Coast, Sarah is a talented dental hygienist who graduated in 2012 with Diplomas in Dental Hygiene and Therapy and was awarded the clinical hygiene award for her graduating cohort.

Sarah is committed to providing the highest standard of care for her patients and believes that a hygienist visit should be as comfortable as possible, with that in mind she solely works with Airflow technology incorporating Guided Biofilm Therapy.

She has a keen interest in periodontics and is very confident in treating complex cases and strives to achieve optimal results, whilst working alongside the dentist.

Having worked in Oral Health Improvement roles in the past she has seen firsthand the impact oral health can have on general health and as a result, she is committed to educating her patients on all aspects of their health and wellness and how they are closely linked.

Sarah has a great passion for education and public speaking, so she regularly delivers training events not only for her peers but within the wider community also.

When Sarah isn’t busy at the clinic, you will usually find her on one of Gold Coast’s beautiful beaches, soaking up the sun. Sarah is also keen to try and keep fit and is always looking for new things to try – and is currently trying to practice more yoga and meditation to complement her busy lifestyle.

Meet Sally, an experienced dental professional, with a decade of expertise in the dental industry. Her journey began humbly as a dental assistant, a role that laid the foundation for her commitment to oral health. This dedication was further solidified with the successful completion of her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy at CQUniversity in 2023.

Sally's professional scope is broad, covering various aspects of dental care, from periodontal care to children's dentistry, cosmetic whitening and restorative procedures catering to all age groups. However, her main focus is on patient education and preventative dentistry. Sally believes in empowering her patients with the knowledge to maintain not just their smiles, but their overall well-being. Her approach prioritises patient comfort, ensuring a stress-free dental experience for every individual under her care.

Committed to professional growth, Sally actively engages in continuing education and values interprofessional collaboration. By working closely with dentists and other health professionals, she aims to achieve the highest standards in treatment outcomes for her patients.
