Meet The Team

Dr David Nestor from Galway, in the west of Ireland completed his undergraduate dental training in Trinity College Dublin, graduating in 2009. Following graduation Dr David spent a number of years working in Belfast, treating patients in private practice and also treating patients in the public system. During this time he achieved membership to the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh through the MJDF and MFDS examinations.

Dr David made his way to sunny Far North Queensland in 2015 and spent a number of years practising in Innisfail and enjoying the laid-back lifestyle of the Far North. He keeps up to date with postgraduate learning and courses in Australia and overseas.

Dr David relocated his practice to Maven Dental Robina in 2019 and shows a keen interest in restorative dentistry, including crowns, bridges, veneers and implant crowns. He takes pride in being a gentle dentist and takes the time to explain the treatment options to his patient.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys golf, travel photography and hiking.

Dr Wonjoon Lee is a friendly dentist. Originally from South Korea, Dr Lee immigrated to Australia and went on to complete a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2016.

After graduating, Dr Lee worked across various practices throughout the rural regions of New South Wales as an associate dentist where he gained thorough experience in all aspects of general dentistry.

Throughout his years in practice, Dr Lee has developed a keen passion for cosmetic dentistry and finds great satisfaction in restoring the natural function of the mouth, enhancing his patients' smiles. Though he enjoys all aspects of cosmetic dentistry he particularly enjoys implant treatment.

When not practicing, Dr Lee enjoys spending quality time with his close friends and family members.

Dr. Nav is not just a skilled dentist; she’s your trusted dental partner. Holding a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India and having lived in the US before settling in Australia, her diverse experiences enrich every patient interaction. Passionate about both the art and science of dentistry, Dr. Nav is committed to preventive care, ensuring issues are addressed before they arise. 

Tailoring treatments to meet individual needs, she takes great pride in helping patients out of pain and restoring healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Nav specialises in General Dental services, with a strong focus on Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, including veneers, crown and bridge work, Invisalign, and oral surgery such as wisdom tooth extractions. Continuously committed to professional development and upskilling, she is currently pursuing advanced training in Dental Implants. 

Fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, Dr. Nav creates a warm and welcoming environment for her patients, fostering strong connections through personalised care. Outside of the clinic, she is a devoted mother who loves spending time with her husband and three children. Whether it's going for bike rides, enjoying long walks on the beach, or engaging in creative DIY projects, her family and love of gardening keep her busy and fulfilled. 

Dr. Nav's friendly and caring nature means she genuinely enjoys getting to know her patients personally, often remembering small details like the names of their pets or their children’s ages. With her, you can expect individualised care that prioritises your comfort and oral health, resulting in beautiful smiles and lasting wellness. 

Dr. Rashmita brings over six years of experience in the dental industry, having worked in various roles ranging from dental assisting to treatment coordination. These positions have provided her with valuable insight into clinical procedures and a strong foundation in patient care. She also has four years of hands-on clinical experience, treating patients and continually refining her skills to provide high-quality dental services.

Originally from Kolkata, India, and raised on the Gold Coast, Australia, Dr. Rashmita is deeply connected to her community. She is passionate about building trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment journey. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence drive her to offer personalised care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

Dr. Rashmita has a particular interest in general and preventative dentistry, believing that disease prevention is crucial for improving oral health in future generations. Looking ahead, she aims to specialise in aesthetic dentistry, with a focus on smile makeovers and aligner therapy. She finds great satisfaction in helping patients achieve their healthiest and most confident smiles.

A strong advocate for gentle, painless dentistry, Dr. Rashmita understands the importance of making dental visits as comfortable as possible. She believes that creating a gentle and pain-free experience is essential for gaining the trust of patients and transforming their perception of dental care. She appreciates the blend of precision and creativity that dentistry offers, and it is incredibly fulfilling for her to help patients not only improve their oral health but also their self-confidence.

Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Rashmita enjoys travelling, exploring new cuisines, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is also an avid reader and is rarely without her Kindle.

Swapping England for the Gold Coast, Sarah is a talented dental hygienist who graduated in 2012 with Diplomas in Dental Hygiene and Therapy and was awarded the clinical hygiene award for her graduating cohort.

Sarah is committed to providing the highest standard of care for her patients and believes that a hygienist visit should be as comfortable as possible, with that in mind she solely works with Airflow technology incorporating Guided Biofilm Therapy.

She has a keen interest in periodontics and is very confident in treating complex cases and strives to achieve optimal results, whilst working alongside the dentist.

Having worked in Oral Health Improvement roles in the past she has seen firsthand the impact oral health can have on general health and as a result, she is committed to educating her patients on all aspects of their health and wellness and how they are closely linked.

Sarah has a great passion for education and public speaking, so she regularly delivers training events not only for her peers but within the wider community also.

When Sarah isn’t busy at the clinic, you will usually find her on one of Gold Coast’s beautiful beaches, soaking up the sun. Sarah is also keen to try and keep fit and is always looking for new things to try – and is currently trying to practice more yoga and meditation to complement her busy lifestyle.
