Stainless steel braces are the most common form of braces used by patients. This treatment compromises of small metal brackets, archwires and coloured o-rings (small rubber ring that holds the wire in place on the bracket). This orthodontic option gives you the ability to customise your look, choosing from a range of colour combinations (o-rings).
Just like the stainless steel braces, ceramic/clear braces function in the same way and incorporate the same components (brackets, archwires and o-rings). The difference of the ceramic braces is the brackets are tooth-coloured and visually less noticeable.
