Preparing for your All-on-4® dental implant appointment
Appointments for All-on-4® dental implants
- At least four appointments are required.
- At the consultation visit, your dentist will examine your mouth to check that the treatment is suitable for you. You will need 3D imaging and impressions to plan the position of the implants. The procedure will be discussed with you in detail, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
- At the next visit, you will have any remaining teeth removed and the implants placed. Another impression will be taken.
- Teeth set in wax will be tried in and adjusted before being sent to the laboratory.
- The permanent teeth will be fitted.
- Further appointments may be needed to complete the dental implant procedure as well as regular implant check-ups.
How long do All-on-4® dental implants take?

- For the consultation, there is no special preparation needed.
