Associate Dentist

Dr Max Tu

Glenelg Dental Centre welcomed Associate Dentist, Dr Max Tu, to the friendly team in early 2018. Dr Tu graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. In addition to his dental studies, he was also selected alongside 9 other students to undertake a volunteer dental mission in Vietnam where he gained valuable experience.

Dr Tu is a passionate dentist who enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and providing his patients with quality dental care. He holds clinical interests in the areas of paediatric and prosthodontic dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Tu is quite an artsy person. He works part-time as a photographer, mainly capturing birthday and charity events; and has a keen interest in illustrations with a focus on portraits.

Oral Health Therapist

Becky Fandino

Glenelg Dental Centre welcomed Oral Health Therapist, Becky Fandino, to the team in September 2016. Becky graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from Adelaide University in 2015. She began her career working in Clare, a country town outside of Adelaide, where she gained valuable experience before returning to the city and joining the Glenelg practice.

In addition to educating patients on optimum oral care, Becky has a passion for interacting and developing strong connections with patients. From a clinical perspective, she holds interests in treating periodontal disease, teeth whitening and educating/working with children.

Glenelg Dental Centre welcomed Oral Health Therapist, Becky Fandino, to the team in September 2016. Becky graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from Adelaide University in 2015. She began her career working in Clare, a country town outside of Adelaide, where she gained valuable experience before returning to the city and joining the Glenelg practice.

In addition to educating patients on optimum oral care, Becky has a passion for interacting and developing strong connections with patients. From a clinical perspective, she holds interests in treating periodontal disease, teeth whitening and educating/working with children.

Becky is a member of both the Dental Hygienists Association Australia and Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapists Association.

Away from the practice, Becky loves travelling and enjoying the different types of food and wine on offer.

Practice Manager

Tracy Owens

Tracy Owens joined the friendly Glenelg Dental Centre team in February 2010 as the passionate and caring practice manager. After finishing school, Tracy began her career in dentistry by qualifying as a dental assistant. Over the years she gained valuable experience within the practice and progressed her way up to front desk, then to practice manager - before leaving the UK in 2006.

As Practice Manager, Tracy thoroughly enjoys patient contact and being able to make a difference to their oral health. Alongside her role, she is committed to her professional development and is also completing her Diploma in Practice Management.

In her spare time, you'll find Tracy walking her dog, reading or catching up with friends.

Clinical Manager

Bronwyn Baker

Bronwyn Baker was welcomed to the friendly, close-knit Glenelg Dental Centre team in February 2000. Bronwyn initially joined the practice as a dental assistant, completing her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2003. After gaining valuable experience she progressed to the role of Clinical Manager where she enjoys interacting with patients and staff.

Within the practice, Bronwyn has a keen interest in training staff and assisting chairside. She is committed to furthering her professional development and hopes to complete training in radiography.

In her spare time, Bronwyn enjoys spending time at home with family and catching up with friends over coffee.
