Meet The Team

Dr Carolyn Myhill was welcomed to the Maven Dental Feldbusch as an associate dentist in April 2015. Dr Myhill completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne. After obtaining her qualifications she spent the first two years of her dental career working in Port Macquarie/Wauchope full time before volunteering in Cambodia. Since her return, she has been part of the Taree practice.

In her role, Dr Myhill enjoys the opportunity of meeting so many wonderful people from the local community, especially the kids, and providing them with excellent dental care. She ensures she continues to uphold such a high standard by keeping up to date with the latest advancements in the field of dentistry through professional development courses and training. Dr Myhill's clinical interests lie in removable prosthodontics, oral surgery and paediatrics.

When she isn't busy in the dental practice, Dr Myhill enjoys spending her time walking her dog on the beach, surfing and practicing yoga.

Dr Yumi Button joined the team at Maven Dental Feldbusch in 2020 after previously working in the NSW Northern Rivers with NSW Health. Yumi is a talented dentist that has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of dentistry.

Dr Button grew up in Sydney and frequently travels to Japan to visit her family. After completing her Bachelor of Medical Science in 2014 Dr Button continued her studies at the University of Sydney graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Dr Button is passionate about preventative dentistry and enjoys helping her patients understand how to maintain excellent oral health. She enjoys developing tailored treatment plans for her patients to ensure they are getting the most out of their visits to the dentist.

Away from the practice, Yumi enjoys keeping fit and healthy by practising vinyasa yoga. She is also a budding musician who loves catching up with friends.

Originally from Canada, Dr Akash Aujla joined the team at Maven Dental Feldbusch at the start of 2020. Dr Aujla is an experienced dentist that enjoys meeting new people and helping his patients feel more confident about their smiles.

After growing up in Canada Akash made the move to Australia in 2014 to pursue a career in dentistry. He completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia just before moving to Sydney to study for a Doctor of Dental Medicine. After graduating he traded Sydney for the NSW North Rivers and spent two years working for NSW Health. Before too long Dr Aujla had fallen in love with the sunny beaches of Australia and now considers it his second home.

Dr Aujla is passionate about preventative and restorative dentistry. He believes that prevention is the key to good oral health and enjoys educating his patients about the best ways to maintain their oral health at home. He also loves not only restoring his patients' smiles but also restoring their confidence through cosmetic dental treatments.

Away from the practice he enjoys hiking and exploring the Taree and Forster area with his camera. He is also seeking out Australia’s best coffees so if you have any suggestions drop in and let him know!

Dr Kenny Tran grew up in South West Sydney and moved to Brisbane to study a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) at the University of QLD.

He has previously worked at QLD Health in West Moreton, treating head and neck cancer patients as part of a multidisciplinary team at Ipswich Hospital. Kenny has also worked at various rural clinics.

Dr Tran’s clinical interests include special needs dentistry and treating anxious patients. “These patients are the most vulnerable in our community and are the ones who need our help the most. It is great to have a positive impact in someone’s quality of life and influence it for the better”.

He also has an interest in paediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and denture work.

Kenny loves the creativity, detail and craftsmanship involved in dentistry. He thrives on connecting with people and problem solving to enable patients to be happier and healthier.

A keen adventurer, outside of the practice Kenny loves to explore the world, which includes sampling its culinary delights.

Dr. Quintin Wilson is a Visiting Dental Surgeon that has restricted his practice to providing Oral Surgery procedures. Quintin has followed is passion in this area of dentistry by completing a Masters degree in Oral Surgery and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dental Implants. Quintin’s focus is on wisdom teeth removal, dental implants and other Oral Surgery procedures. Quintin holds appointments at the Coffs Harbour, Kempsey and Port Macquarie Hospitals as well as Baringa Private Hospital, where he provides Oral Surgery services under general and local anesthetic.

Born in Bellingen, Quintin moved away from the area during his service in the military and subsequent early dental career. He was delighted to return to his hometown in 2016 on the Mid North Coast.

When not at work Quintin enjoys cycling, travel and spending time with his two boys, Jack and Harry.

Dr Olivia Jeon joined the team at Maven Dental Feldbusch after graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from the University of Queensland. Originally from Brisbane, she decided to move out of the city in search of a more relaxed lifestyle in the country.

Dr Olivia enjoys all aspects of general dentistry; however, she has taken a particular liking to wisdom tooth surgery as well as crown and bridge work. With a strong focus on preventative and conservative dentistry, she believes that all patients deserve to have their treatment options explained so that they can wholly understand. Additionally, by ensuring she takes the time to build trusting relationships, she is best able to help her patients feel comfortable every step of the way.

Passionate about continued education, Olivia believes that it is essential to keep up to date with the latest research so that she can provide her patients with the best possible care.

Outside of work, Olivia is a long-distance runner and swimmer. When she is not jogging or swimming, she also enjoys hands-on creative projects such as pottery or painting. Most recently, she has been familiarising herself with the concept of mindfulness and meditation.
