As communities across Australia begin the arduous task of rebuilding from the devastation of recent bushfires, while others are still battling the flames, we look at ways in which we can help.
Last week members of our Operations and HR teams visited the South Coast region of NSW, where Maven Dental has practices in Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma.
The visit was an opportunity to check-in with our team members on the ground and see what support we as a company could offer. At Maven Dental, we pride ourselves on our support and Employee Assistance Programs which was why it was great to touch base with team members in person.
These are trying times for so many, and to be able to stop in and say G’day, and thank you, to many the volunteers and locals was the least we could do to support local volunteers in these communities.
Our teams continue to provide discounted dental treatment and replace dental produces free of charge to patients that have been affected by the fires.
Supporting local businesses is one of the important ways to getting communities back on their feet. This is why we sourced almost 20kg of snacks from local producers and delivered to rural fire brigades across the region. As well as provided Team Members and Clinicians with gift packs filled with products from local businesses across the South Coast including biscuits, coffee vouchers and beauty products.
