2019/20 Clinical Advisory Board Hold First Meeting

The Maven Dental Group Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) recently held their first meeting following the appointment of 6 new members. Consisting of clinicians from across the country, the CAB utilise their collective knowledge and experience to set the future direction of the network and provide an engaging environment for Maven's clinical teams.

Chaired by Abano Healthcare’s Trans-Tasman Clinical Director, Dr Fred Calavassy, the appointment of the 2019/20 board marks the 10th year of the CAB. The CAB team is a mix of well-respected dentists and specialists that fully represent the diversity, experience and depth of the Maven Dental network. Dr Marguerite Reith (Maven Dental Clinical Advisor) and Dr Mark Cull re-join the CAB for another year along with six fresh faces including Dr Theo Baisi, Dr Claude Capelli, Dr Rachel Garraway, Dr Campbell Roberts, Dr Ahmed Wahba, and Dr Lauren Gill.

As a national company it’s a chance for us to consolidate ideas and be more united in our front as a group

– - Dr Lauren Gill, Hallett Cove Dental

Maven Dental are constantly welcoming talented young dental professionals to our network. The members of our CAB are committed to not only providing direct mentorship but also assisting our lead clinicians to grow and develop their respective practice teams.

Previous board members have developed and presented a range of clinical content for our lead and associate dentists to utilise and provided the support centre with critical advice and guidance. Constantly reviewing procedures whilst staying abreast of the latest advancements, the 2019/20 CAB will continue this tradition of delivering effective clinical advice and perspective across a wide range of issues.
